Things to note
South Point Hotel aims to create memories that will last a lifetime, placing emphasis on providing our guests with an exceptionally clean, comfortable and convenient hotel experience. These policies are considered part of our reservation agreement with you. As our hotel guest, you agree to abide by ALL our hotel policies. The Management of the South Point Hotel would greatly appreciate your co-operation in abiding the following, as we value each of our guests’ safety and enjoyment. Please note that our hotel policies may change from time to time.
- No parties of any nature are allowed in the room.
- Wi-Fi: Complimentary access.
- In the event of a no-show, a fee of the deposit (inclusive of any applicable prevailing government tax) will be charged to your credit card provided at the time of reservation.
- The Property reserves the right to remove guests due to their conduct or behavior, as well as for any safety, security, or medical reasons. This is especially applicable if guests fail to follow instructions from Property employees, use discriminatory language, harass others, or pose a danger to fellow guests.
- Guests will not be permitted to compromise the security aspects of the Property at any point in time.
- Guests are required to provide a valid form of identification upon arrival at the property.
- Guests must adhere to the safety and security guidelines provided by the Property.
- All assets and valuables belonging to the Property must be properly maintained and should not be damaged or destroyed. The Property reserves the right to impose charges if it is definitively proven that any damage or destruction to its assets (both movable and immovable) was caused by the Guest.
- Any valuables are to be placed in the safety deposit box in your room.
- The Property takes no responsibility for any personal possessions that are lost, stolen, or misplaced whilst on the premises due to the acts and omissions of the guests themselves.
- Free parking on site.
- Lost property found on the premises is logged and kept in a secure location. Thereafter items are either disposed of or donated to charity.
- Perishable items retrieved from rooms after
checking out are only held until the close of business that day. - Claimed items can be collected from the Property with valid identification or the Property can arrange postage on behalf of the guest at their expense.
- The Company reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. If any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on this website immediately. Please check the latest information posted herein to inform yourself of any changes.
- Pet Policy: South Point Hotel does NOT provide accommodation for pets
- Lost & Found Policy: South Point Hotel assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover you have left any belongings behind, please contact the front desk as soon as possible.
- Guest Services: Our front desk staff is available 24/7 to assist you with any questions or concerns during your stay. Please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
- Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and the location of emergency exits in case of evacuation.
- Smoking Policy: Our hotel is 100% smoke-free. Smoking is strictly prohibited in guest rooms, balconies, or on-site areas. A fine of USD$250 will be charged for smoking in restricted areas. A designated smoking area is available for guests who wish to smoke.
- Occupancy Limits: The maximum occupancy for each room type is specified in your reservation. Please adhere to the occupancy limits to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
- Quiet Hours: Please respect quiet hours, typically between 11:30 PM -7:00 AM, to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
- Damages: Any damages to the room or hotel property caused by guests will be charged to the credit card on file. Please report any damages or maintenance issues to the front desk immediately.
- Check-In Time: Check-in time is at 3:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request and is subject to availability. Please contact the hotel in advance if you require an early check-in.
- Reservation Confirmation: Please present a valid passport or photo ID and reservation confirmation upon check-in. The name on the reservation must match the name on the ID.
- Payment: Payment for your stay will be settled upon check-in. We accept cash (USD, Canadian, Euro & Pounds Sterling), and Visa and Master cards. American Express cards will not be accepted.
- Room Levy: In accordance with the government of Barbados, a mandatory room rate levy tax has been imposed on registered tourists staying at the hotel. This tax is an additional USD $4.42 per room, per night. This will be reflected in your guest folio and will be collected as a separate amount (additional to the quoted room charges) during your check-in.
- Incidentals: A valid credit card or cash deposit will be required at check-in to cover incidental charges, such as room service or telephone calls.
- Minimum Age Requirement: Guests must be at least 18 years old to check-in. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Check-Out Time: Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
- Late Check-Out: Late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Please contact the front desk in advance if you require a late check-out.
- Additional Charges: Any extra charges accrued during your stay, such as those from the restaurant or room service, will be added to your final bill.
- Room Inspection: A member of our housekeeping team will inspect your room upon check-out.
- Luggage Storage: If you need to store luggage after check-out, please inquire at the front desk.
- Shuttle/Taxi: If you require transportation to the airport or any other destination, please notify the front desk in advance. We can arrange shuttle/taxi services or provide information on local transportation options.
