From the moment we landed, South Point set the tone for an extraordinary stay. Our driver Dagan picked us up from the airport and immediately made us feel welcomed - professional, warm, and clearly proud of his beautiful island. He even pointed us toward a local gem on Oistins Road: Pat's Place for outstanding organic local food and Arctic Cream for the most incredible island ice cream. That kind of personal touch says everything about the culture South Point attracts.

Ian drove us to the airport this morning with that same professionalism and genuine friendliness. Both drivers represent Barbados and South Point beautifully.

The front desk welcome was out of this world. Dianté handled every question we threw at him with patience, knowledge, and the most handsome smile - true hospitality in every sense. The entire front desk team carries that same amazing energy, and though we didn't catch every name, every interaction felt warm and personal.

This was our first time staying at a local hotel in Barbados. Seven years ago we experienced Sandals, and while that was lovely, South Point gave us the real Barbados - the people, the spirit, the soul of this island. The grounds are stunning, the atmosphere is pure peace and relaxation.

We only had one night this visit, with a quick turnaround, and we are already planning a longer return. South Point, we will be back - and we cannot recommend this place highly enough.

About a five minute walk from the water. The staff was excellent from check in to check out,hotel restaurant bar, they gave excellent recommendations and were very helpful with transportation. The spa was onsite and Sheba Boxhill was also excellent. The rooms and grounds were always clean. Our family of 3 had a great short stay in a two bedroom room. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was fresh and good quality, we enjoyed a dinner and breakfast there. South Point Hotel was beautiful! We were greeted by friendly staff and our room was clean and neat. We had a garden view room. The gardens were gorgeous -filled with all types of plants and flowers. The beach is located behind the hotel but unfortunately the sea weed was overgrown. So we enjoyed the pool which was close to the restaurant and bar. The food served at Driftwood Restaurant was delicious! South Point is a nice place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. The hotel is remote, so you will need to rent a car or hire a ride. I really enjoyed my stay here at South Point. From the moment we walked in customer service was spectacular. They were very helpful, anything we needed they were there to assist. From rides every day and even booking excursions for us! The room was beautiful nice and cozy, had a nice kitchenette that was very beneficial. The process of staying here was so smooth and easy which I am very grateful for! ALSO, the staff made sure the property stayed up to par the ENTIRE time and I truly appreciated that! The best experience! My best friend and I spent Spring Break here and hated having to leave yesterday. The hotel is in the cut but it is SO beautiful and such a nice bohemian, islandy vibe. For us, it felt like a great location. It was easy for us to find drivers to pick us up and go place, the beach wasn't really far and Miami Beach is so nice! I swear I could've stayed all day and night. The food on the property was really good and the driiiiiiiiinks!!! We got a 2 bedroom suite because we were both doing some work from home things and it was perfect for us.

But the absolute best best best best best part of our stay at South Point was hands down the staff who was absolutely amazing, so kind, friendly, welcoming and gave us great recommendations. I really want to name all of them but I don't want to leave anybody out lol, just know that everyone from housekeeping, to the front desk, to the manager, and bar & restaurant are literally some of the best people! And we'll always stay there when we're in Barbados!
