Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team and help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming and hygienic environment. This role demands efficiency, discretion, and a strong commitment to delivering top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Change linens and towels and replace guest supplies.
• Ensure all rooms meet the hotel’s quality and cleanliness standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to the supervisor promptly.
• Handle guest requests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized state.
• Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• GCE Certificates or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years prior experience as a room attendant, housekeeper, or similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and chemical handling.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional and courteous demeanour with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods.
