We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead all culinary operations at South Point Hotel. This role is responsible for food quality, menu development, kitchen performance, cost control, food safety, and the overall dining experience across our restaurant, room service, banquets, and special events.

The Head Chef will lead and develop the culinary team, manage inventory and suppliers, maintain operational standards, and ensure the kitchen runs efficiently within approved food and labour budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations across all dining services and events
  • Develop menus and maintain consistent food quality and presentation
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage the culinary team
  • Oversee food safety, cleanliness, inventory, purchasing, and equipment
  • Manage food and labour costs while minimizing waste
  • Respond to guest feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
