Food and Beverage Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager at the South Point Hotel in Barbados. The role oversees all F&B operations, including restaurant, bar, room service, beach service, and catering. You will lead the strategic vision and execution of our Food & Beverage Department, ensuring our food service reflects South Point Hotelโs culture of innovation and inclusion while delivering operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations across all food and beverage outlets, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a respectful, positive work environment.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to develop seasonal, trend-forward menus aligned with brand standards.
- Oversee special events, private dining, and large-party reservations, delivering memorable experiences.
- Monitor financial performance, control costs, manage inventory, and drive profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality, cost-effective supply management.
- Maintain clear communication across departments and address guest feedback promptly.
Qualifications:
- A 2-year degree from an accredited institution in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in a senior food and beverage, culinary, or related leadership role.
- Proven food and beverage leadership experience within a high-end hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of culinary trends, budgeting, inventory systems, and service standards.
- Customer oriented and good communication skills with a can-do attitude.
- Hands-on leader with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead, supervise and work cohesively with a team of service staff.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
